Message	normally need to. I had no problem backing out the switches until they were flush with the bracket...and then adjust the pedal to close the switches leaving only about 1/16" of free play. I've also noticed that some clutches release better then others. SpecialtyZ has made some custom design changes to their line of clutches that allow for better release and lighter pedal feel. I'd try contacting Greg at SZ if you are interested in trying a different clutch.
